Movin' On Up: A Lesson in Things to Check at the New House

So, all of our stuff is HERE! Hurray! The house is coming together and things are looking quite homey and delightful. Don't get me wrong there are still TONS of boxes to unpack, but the living room and kitchen are pretty close to "normal". Its been quite an adventure this week.

The AC didn't work. It blew out air, but not cold air. So two of the moving in trips were HOT. bleh. Next time: Check earlier.

WASPS! Holy crap. They like this little house and swarm it making buzzing little sounds to show their displeasure at our residing here now! Next time: Bug spray or exterminator right away!

Brrrrrrr. Although the heat index hit over 100 today, NO hot water still bites! And by bites I mean...well...bites. *giggle* It stings the skin like thousands of little lightning bolts hitting my tender bits all at once. Next time: Check the water BEFORE spending the first night! Now its a holiday weekend and my tender bits are just flinching at the very thought of tomorrow's torturous weekend.

But besides all that...its going great! :-D New is good!
